Flood insurance for your property

The power of flood waters can be immense and most unforgiving. If you are an owner of a property in a flood risk area, you have probably experienced difficulty in arranging home insurance at some time (you and two million or so others!) and the situation is unlikely to improve. At least nowadays insurers are able to more accurately determine the realistic threat to your individual property, rather than the postcode lottery system that used to be in place – this factor has enabled over 100,000 properties to no longer be considered ‘at risk’.
